Brownsville, Texas has historically been the gateway to Latin America. We have an airport doing cargo and commercial flights, a modern deep water port, rail and interstate. International trade is a big part of Brownsville's economy. We border Matamoros. Mex. Trade goes back and forth all day long. Our port is a key part of the trade. Brownsville is very open for business. Our city commission is working hard to make doing business in Brownsville easier. The Brownsville Voice highlights Brownsville, the good, the bad, and the ugly. The good news is Brownsville is undergoing a Renaissance. Historic downtown is alive and well with fine eating and high end bars.
Ecotourism is also a big part of Brownsville - it does not hurt we have Boca Chica beach, a raw and undeveloped beach, and South Padre Island just a short 30 minute drive
I look forward to hearing from you.
